Oracle has cut an unspecified number of jobs as the software giant looks to reduce costs and continue growing its artificial intelligence business, according to former employees and multiple reports.

After weeks of speculation, Oracle l aid off employees across multiple countries, including India.

In a March filing, Oracle said it expects total costs associated with its fiscal 2026 restructuring plan to be as high ​as $2.1 billion, primarily for employee severance and other ​related expenses.
